Pre-Sea Training Courses
Pre-Sea Training Courses are designed to prepare aspiring seafarers for a successful career at sea by providing essential knowledge, practical skills, and discipline required for life onboard. These courses combine classroom instruction with hands-on training in seamanship, navigation, safety, and marine engineering, ensuring cadets meet international maritime standards. Upon completion, trainees are equipped to join merchant vessels as competent and responsible maritime professionals.
GP Rating (Deck & Engine)
Pass with aggregate 40% marks in 10th standard from a recognized Board with Science, Mathematics & English ,Minimum 40% marks in English language either 10th or 12th standard , Age 17 & 1/2 to 25 Years
Certificate Course in Maritime Catering (CCMC)
Pass in 10+2 from any stream with 40% marks in 12th standard. Similarly required to obtain at least 40% marks in English. Either at 10th or 12th standard , Age 17 & 1/2 to 25 Years
B.Sc. Nautical Science (BSCNS) 3 yrs. Degree Course (Mumbai University) & (DG SHIPPING)
Pass in 12th standard (10+2)with PCM average not less than 60% and 50% marks in English at SSC or HSC Age 25 Years
Electro Technical Officer Course(ETO)
DIPLOMA WITH 60% B. E . or B.TECH WITH 50% in electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication or Instrumentation and with 12 STD PCM & English 50% in 10 or 12 STD and Age 35 Years & Below
Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS)
Pass in 12th standard (10+2)with PCM average not less than 55% and 50% marks in English at SSC or HSC (OR)
With Physic as individual subject in one of the year, B. Sc. In Physics, Maths, Chemistry or Electronics with an average of not less than 55% marks in Final year (OR)
B. E. / B. Tech. Degree from I. I. T. or from college recognized AICTE/UGC/DEC
